In September 1985 Bob Belzer founded American Plastics as a Custom Plastic Fabricator in a 1200 square foot facility in Clearwater Florida. From these humble beginnings, American Plastics has grown to 30,000 square feet of modern manufacturing in four locations, Clearwater and Tampa, Florida and Ware Shoals, South Carolina. With over Thirty Five employees using the latest computerized equipment American Plastics can produce complex precision plastic components and assemblies to exacting tolerances for a wide range of industries.


Still a family owned business American Plastics entered the computer age with our first CNC Milling machine in 1990. We have steadily added a variety of computerized equipment which today includes Saws, Routers, Lathes Milling and Injection Molding Machines giving us the ability to produce even the most challenging custom parts.
